Senior Member Upgrade Night

If you have attended school and worked in the IEEE fields
of interest (such as Engineering, Computer Science, and
others) for at least ten years you may be qualified for
IEEE Senior Member. IF SO WE CAN HELP YOU ATTAIN THIS RANK.

WHAT DO I RECEIVE AS A SENIOR MEMBER?

You are entitled to call yourself an IEEE Senior Member
for the rest of your life and this will be indicated on
your Membership card. Your immediate Supervisor (or
whomever you specify) will receive a letter commending you
on your status. You will also receive a beautiful wooden
plaque indicating this status and other member benefits.

WHAT WILL IT COST?

Just your time to apply. There is no
increase in dues and there are no fees.

WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS?

You must have worked in the You must have worked in the
IEEE fields of interest (such as Engineering, Computer
Science, and others) for at least ten years and, of course,
been an IEEE member for that time. Your education level
also counts for some of that time. There are other
requirements too (this is not a piece of cake) but most of
our members can meet these and they will be explained at
the meeting. You also need three letters of recommendation
from higher grade Members. TO SEE THE COMPLETE

WHAT IS THE EASIEST WAY TO APPLY?

Come to the Senior Member Upgrade night at the
Reynoldsburg Library (1402 Brice Road) on September 23 at
6:30 PM. Enjoy a light dinner with us and meet higher
level members anxious to write your recommendation. Bring
copies of your resume or CV. ONE OF THE THREE LETTERS WILL
BE WAIVED BY IEEE IF YOU PARTICIPATE IN THIS SENIOR MEMBER
DRIVE.

Do I have to attend this event? No, if you wish to bypass
the event but still run for Senior Member let me know if I
can help.
