Bio:
Kevin Berisso holds a Ph.D. degree in technology management from Indiana State University. Having worked as a custom warehouse-management software project engineer, and then as a manufacturing engineer with Delphi Automotive, Dr. Berisso has a wealth of practical industrial experience. As the current director of the Ohio University AIDC Lab, he has focused the lab's attention on helping companies apply existing off-the-shelf RFID technologies to specific business problems. In addition to teaching an RFID class, an automatic identification class and a programming class, he does contract based programming and system integration work, conducts bar code research and regularly consults with various companies and universities on all manner of automatic identification related topics.

Radio Frequency Identification. RFID. It's here. It works. The only remaining question is how can it help me?

Even if you don't know everything about it, you have probably heard about it. For many companies the current question is not, what is it - but how can we use it. Come and join us as we explore some of the many ways in which RFID can be help with productivity AND profitability! After a brief discussion of the technology's pros and cons, we will look into some of the numerous possible ways in which it can help your company to achieve a competitive advantage in today's tight economy. Bring some samples if you want - RFID readers will be made available to allow you to see if your product or problem can benefit from RFID.
