Title: AEP Ohio’s gridSMART Energy Efficiency Programs for Business Customers
Abstract: Come learn about exciting financial incentives being offered by AEP Ohio for designing energy efficient buildings! The gridSMART Business Incentives program for non residential customers, AEP Ohio’s Energy Efficiency Programs for businesses are a key part of an overall portfolio of programs, approved by the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio (PUCO) as part of the company’s Energy Efficiency and Demand Response Plan. KEMA, a vendor for AEP Ohio, has an office in Columbus to manage the services provided to support the programs. AEP Ohio non-residential customers are given incentives to help speed the payback of their investment and reduce the carbon footprint in Ohio.

Presenter: Angie Doan Marketing and Outreach Manager KEMA Services Inc
Ms. Doan’s responsibilities include Education and Outreach across multiple sectors of architects, engineers, contractors, and energy professionals while developing effective marketing materials to deliver energy efficiency projects. Her key strengths include a turnkey understanding of national, regional and local energy efficiency initiatives. She has experience with large scale energy efficiency roll outs and programs. Ms. Doan has developed project and service marketing efforts to conceptualize and develop business integrating economic, social and environmental needs of clients, conducting on going market research and competitive analysis. She has successfully coordinated, planned and executed a strong Trade Ally network and training programs in her territory. Ms. Doan brings management and leadership experience with a deep expertise in all sustainable market activities including SmartGrid, AMI applications, renewables, demand response with a focus of energy efficiency. Ms. Doan currently serves on the local board of Association of Energy Engineers and has a BA in Business from The Ohio State
