Abstract:
An in depth analysis and discussion of hardware and software for device level networks for Programmable Logic Controller based manufacturing control systems.

Biographical Statement:
John Pax has been a project manager at Scotts Miracle-Gro and Exxon-Mobil for 16 years specializing in PLC based control systems and medium voltage power distribution for continuous process manufacturing. He currently teaches full time as a Professor at Devry University College of Engineering and Information Systems.
